    Глеб Архангельский“Methodical work produces the best results”

    I continue the story of a significant event. On October 26, I managed to listen to 3 of the most famous business coaches: Radislav Gandapas, Radmilo Lukich and Gleb Arkhangelsky.

    Gleb Arkhangelsky gave a lecture “The right rest for those who work hard.” In addition to those described in his book “Time Drive. How to have time to live and work, ”the technician also spoke about new ones, but let’s go in order.

    Let’s start with common truths. Time is our irreplaceable resource, which must be treated with the utmost care. And the art of wasting time not in the right way, but in the way you want!

    “Three elephants” of time management

    • goal setting;
    • planning;
    • self-motivation.

    From the conducted interactive survey, it turned out that the audience in the hall sins with the fact that the goals are prescribed and the action plan too, only periodically (preferably once a week), we do not return to our goals and plans.

    Tactical and strategic fatigue

    There are 2 types of work fatigue: tactical (daily) and strategic (burnt out) fatigue. As Gleb explained, in the latter case, you want to fire everyone, set fire to the office and go to warm countries to work as a surf instructor 🙂

    How to deal with tactical fatigue?

    1. Eat 1 “frog” every morning on an empty stomach. “Frog” – these are those small things and problems, the solution of which we constantly postpone indefinitely. This is to systematize some information, make an unpleasant call, etc., etc.

    2. Intermediate joys. Do something nice for your loved one. Someone allows himself something to drink or eat, someone buys “unnecessary” things, but which bring joy.

    3. Compose

    a) a short list of resource activities and do them, for example, once a week. So that you still do not forget about this list, publicly declare your intention, and also try to do the exercises regularly and then it will become a habit.

    For me, this list of favorite non-work activities are: crocheting, reading fiction, hiking in scenic spots, theater.

    b) a long list of resource activities. Something that you probably would never have tried in your life… and in general, something about which you have a vague idea))) For example, what is heliskiing or wakeboarding? Perform – once a month.

    For myself, I also quickly made a list of such activities. I can boast of skydiving, rope jumping, walking on jumpers, etc., I won’t list everything. And here’s what I still want to do: go diving, go to Pripyat for paintball, go wine / cigar tasting … to be continued.

    4. Start a creative card file. Write down here all the thoughts that come to you.

    How to deal with strategic fatigue?

    Strategic fatigue is the accumulation of tactical fatigue.

    1. Separation of native goals from imposed ones. To do this, we start a memoir, where every day we write down the main event of the day (GSD), then at the end of the week – the main event of the week (GOS) and further: the main event of the month (GSM) and the year (GHA). And we determine to which sphere of life this event belongs. It can be family, pride, joy, i.e. not necessarily “business”, “career”.

    Then we draw up a summary table with horizontal goals and vertical values, put marks (you can come up with a rating system yourself) and calculate the result. We ask ourselves the question: is it necessary to do this? Is this my goal?

    2. Imagine yourself having achieved your goal. If you rejoice for a long time after you have achieved your goal, then this is the right way!

    Gleb also answered questions, and handed out books for the most interesting ones.

    We read the next entry about the unsurpassed Radislav Gandapas!
